Jiena harist cass...
Mistaghgeb...
Sbuhija ta' kuluri dehru
Nahseb li hemm seba'...
Imma l-ikbar sorpriza tieghi
Tmienja hemm qed nara
U it-tmien kulur
fosthom huwa jien.

In sleep's depths
I dreamed...
Scenes of beauty
I gazed upon...
Staring...
Beauties of color appear
I think there are seven...
But to my great surprise
There are eight I see
and the eighth color
among them was me.
